What is included in a deep clean?
One of the most frequently asked questions we get is what is the difference between a deep clean and a standard clean. When we are first hired to clean a property, or if it is a one-time clean, we hand and damp-wipe/clean every surface we can safely reach. This will include all accessible baseboards, all doors and door trim, all interior windows, sills and trim, all cabinet surfaces, all furniture surfaces, flooring. Bathrooms are hand mopped and glass shower doors scrubbed clean, tile cleaned, toilets scoured, fixtures polished. Kitchen appliance surfaces are cleaned. The insides of appliances can be cleaned, if requested. We do this as add-on services, as many clients do not wish to have this as a routine service.
A deep clean on average will take approximately twice the amount of time as a standard clean and therefore is always more expensive. The condition of the property both at the time of the deep clean and between the standard clean services is directly related to how long it takes for us to clean the property to our standards.
