Whether you know why Pueblo, Mexico celebrates the 5th of May or you just really like tacos and tequila – you have come to the source with all the things. Try a spin on the classic margarita with this Honeydew Melon Margarita. Check out the other posts here and you will find Mexican Street Corn, Cowboy Caviar and Vegetarian Tacos. For this fiesta, we created a mix between the typical “Seafood Boil style” layout and a Mexican Charcuterie Board… lay down parchment paper, place shredded lettuce down the middle and everything else spaced around. Easy to do, pretty to look at and a snap to clean up!
What’s your go to?
Honeydew Melon Margarita
- 2 cups honeydew melon diced
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 3/4 cup Tequila
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 1/2 cup ice
Place everything into a blender and pulse until incorporated and slushie. Rub a lime wedge along the top of your glasses and rim with salt.
